As we said, the Post Standard interviewed me a few weeks back about the experiment. The story ran today! How cool is that?

Come Get Your MP3
And here's your big surprise! It's a unicorn!
I mean, the MP3. It's ready to be downloaded!
Grab it here. Download it (right click and save as for PC users, Control click and save as for Mac people. Also, check out our FAQ), put it on your MP3 player, or put it on a CD and bring it in a CD player.
If you feel like it, and have the technology, put it on a record, and bring a record player with you.
Or have your unicorn sing it to you.
See you all on Saturday. Just don't listen to the MP3 before Gary says to, OK?
To recap, we're meeting on Saturday at 4 pm (don't be late! We will be STARTING promptly at 4!) in Columbus Circle (intersection of E. Jefferson and Montgomery). Be sure to bring an umbrella!
The event is on Foursquare, too, so if you play, you can check in!

Something BIG
... is coming tomorrow!
Well, I mean, it's about 30 megabytes. And about 40 minutes long. But still. It's big.
I'll give you a hint: you're going to want it, and it's not a unicorn.

Some Publicity
We got a bit of publicity the other day; Melinda Johnson, the Arts Editor from the Post Standard, took a quick interview with me about the Syracuse MP3 Experiment. It's a good sign that the media is contacting us to arrange these interviews-- we have high hopes for this year's experiment!
In related news, our Facebook event has been created. Go ahead and RSVP to the experiment, and please, invite all your friends! We have high hopes for this year, and we want to have more people participate than last year.
If you (the media or a curious citizen; we love hearing from both!) have any questions about the event, please send me an email. I'll let you all know in advance, though, I do prefer some anonymity here; this isn't about me, it's about the event!
Thanks everyone. This is going to be great.

Check out photos below for last year's hi-jinks.
